This gorgeous viola is a full-size 16" viola. This is the biggest size viola that is made and is a great choice for anyone who is serious about playing viola. The viola comes with everything you need to start playing right out of the box including a case, bow, rosin, and setup instructions. The viola will arrive with the bridge under the tailpiece and the bridge will need to be set before playing. Please be sure to read through the instructions and note that a viola is tuned CGDA from the lowest string in pitch to the highest.
This gorgeous viola features a natural antique finish with a solid maple top and basswood back and sides. It has a clear resonant tone with plenty of low end without being muddy or murky. This is a quality affordable instrument perfect for orchestra but also for any musician interested in playing viola. Violas are great and often overlooked instruments. Although tuning can be tough initially it is much easier than a violin and a great instrument for anyone that is interested.
