This full-size 4/4 electric violin fiddle is a qulifty affordable instrument that is great for adding violin parts to recordings as well as late night practice while not disturbing others. These violins are so versatile that the possibilities are really endless. The violin has a gorgeous black piano lacquer finish with white dots throughout making it look like a starry night. It comes with a case, bow, rosin, bridge, headphones, and 1/8th inch to 1/4 inch instrument cable for plugging into an amplifier or recording device.
These violins sound great with some effects as can be heard in the video or they also sound great through the provided headphones for classical violin or fiddle practice. The built in pickup is very quite and allows for a full rich tone without unecessary background noise. **Please note the violin will arrive as it is pictured in the 5th picture with the strings around the fingerboard and bridge wrapped in parchment paper under the tailpiece. There are setup instructions in the box and setting the bridge on these electric violins is relatively easy since it sits on the pickup, just be sure to lign up the lower side of the bridge with the high e string (thinnest string). Electric violins such as this one are commonly called silent violins. Although they are very quite compared to an acoustic violin there is still some sound that is made when playing as can be heard in the video.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON TUNING: When you receieve a brand new violin like this with the bridge not set when you go to tune it, you will need to go through and fully tune the violin 6-8 times before all strings begin to be in tune. This is because tuning one string affects all other strings. A good way to tune a new violin is to tune each string a half step low until they are all in tone down a half step and then bring them all up the additional half step. This is a good way to keep from breaking any strings initially.
